Credits are consumed when billable verification work runs. The exact balance movement depends on the workflow and the volume you processed.

- the time the balance changed

Where teams get confused
Most confusion comes from assuming a workflow was only a preview when it was actually a billable run, or from forgetting that multiple people or integrations can use the same account balance.
